There is usually a room where some spouses work on their own hobbies
Sewing, knitting, painting carving etc

if the weather is nice can sit by the lake and watch the alligators and birds..

orlando is close by with museums, Disney, universal...
Some antique shops nearby.

several nature parks nearby with hiking trails, bike trails, Lake access, boat ramps,

when will the Symposium be in Florida?
feb 7,8,9
As of Tuesday they were still taking registrations.
So sign up quickly if you want to go. I think it is a terrific demo line up.

I once saw Judy show off at the end of demo she finished early by turning a production spin top in like 20 seconds.
Be sure to see a couple of Keith gotschall’s demos.

Not much to do except for the woodturning. If your wife likes to drive on 2 lane roads and you have a good GPS she can go to Mt Dora, a village a few miles away. Lots of shops and restaurants to browse and spend money. Look in guide books for the area.

Nothing in the actual area of the symposium.
