The turning was done by me on Cape Cod and the beads were done by Jeri Warhaftig from NJ.
The bowl is 11 1/2" in diameter and about 4 1/4" tall. The beads were hand made, then coated with a white enamel and sand-blasted.

This piece took over 6 months to make working a few hours a week. There are over 2000 pieces in the vase. It is made of African mahogany, ash, red heart, ebony, and maple. there is a scroll saw inlay in the bottom, of a buffalo skull.
This hollow form/vase is made from a single piece of old growth Spalted Curly Ambrosia Maple and segmented with Walnut veneer.
It is 6 3/8 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches in diameter.
The finish is shellac and wax.
Staved & Segmented Bowl using walnut, padauk, lyptus, holly & bolivian rosewood. finsh is burnished deft then buffed. 9 1/4" dia, 5" tall.
Alaska masuer birch, Alaskan diamond willow, laun and maple burl. Handle and inlay is Maple burl, laun,diamond willow fossil tusk, brass, copper and silver
