I was watching an eHow video on sharpening and the fellow had a diagram showing the various gouges, skews and scrapers with associated bevel and profile angles all on a single sheet- This one appeared to be hand-drawn and it looked pretty handy. Anybody know of such a chart or diagram that I might download or copy?
Thanks

A single page reference is on The Doug Thompson tools site and shows a bowl gouge, spindle gouge and detail gouge profile as well as the suggested sharpening angles. Hope this is useful to you.

Patrick,

Its important to remember flute profiles vary by manufacturer. The flute dictates the profile when grinding. So any "quick guide" is only a very general reference.
