Did a search for "doublesided tape" and find lots of references to the use of tape in turning and otherwise. Also find there is a multitude of different doublesided tape products, all touting as the best for woodworking. Wondering what products you have found as the best to hold items for turning specifically. I would guess that whatever product holds well for turning can also be used for most other woodworking applications. Appreciate any suggestions for specific products or product characteristics to consider. Thanks.

The tape sold by woodcraft works well - Naptha takes off Any residue
Tape sold by craft supplies or packard are
Good too

they all need about 5 minute of pressure to active the P in psa
Cutting the end at 45 degrees makes a point where it is easy to separate the backing
