I'm ordering the Vermec system. I could not find any threads here related to it. I like the sanding system that comes with it, looks well made like all Vermec products and I can go deeper than some of the other systems I looked into. I do have and I use a lot the Lyle Jamieson system. But, you can never have enough toys, I mean, tools. Would like to hear it from you if you have one. Aloha

I can't find any good, detailed pictures of the unit, but looking at what is available, my take is that it will not have any more rigidity than the Jamieson system with the same diameter boring bar. Its advantage would be that it could be used with shorter-bed lathes.

Have you used one with that front gate on it? Looks restrictive. I don't see much torque arresting except for the side handle, am I missing something? A video and some closeups at https://www.woodworkersemporium.com/Vermec_WTT-050/
Im in weekly contact with Guilio Marcolongo, we do video chats. He showed me the hollower in action. He loves it. Other than that, I don't know much. I'll keep you posted. Aloha
