Grainger sells discontinued models at a discount on occasion, they list them on their website, Craigslist may be an option for a locally sourced deal in your area, eBay has lots of listings on motors that size. WWW.SURPLUSCENTER.COM is another source for discount electric motors.

How about motor type: ODP, TEFC, TENV, etc? Temperature rating? Duty cycle? Does it need to be dual voltage? You won't find a real 2 HP motor that runs on 115 vac. I've had good luck buying motors on the industrial section of eBay.
