Thought my remote went bad, but it's not. Put unit back together and a red(Pink) wire slipped out of the 8 position connector from motor to PC board. The PC board only has 4 connections, so I reinstalled it on that slot. Now the unit won't go on, but if I disconnect power and reconnect, the unit goes on for 30 seconds on high, 5 seconds on medium and the shuts off. Talked to 2 Jet techs but do not have advice except " it's a PC board problem" Before I fork over 45 bucks, I'd like more info. Any ideas?
Thanks

Peter, I had a similar problem with my Jet AFS-1000B. I found a bad capacitor on the board, I replaced it with a 2200uF 10V Radial Electrolytic Motherboard Capacitor, now it runs perfectly. If this is your problem I would gladly send you a capacitor, I have three extra.
