A little bit off topic but another one of the ladies, This time singing the national anthem At a Saints game. A nice more or less faithful rendition of the anthem, thought some might like to hear it. By the way the World War II museum is a very well respected museum and really a good visit. One of the many many many things to do in New Orleans that are family friendly to people may not be aware of.

You may remember the YouTube video from 2005 where Carson Williams of Mason, Ohio created an animated Christmas light display synced to Wizards in Winter by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It's tiny in comparison to the subsequent one-upsmanship and here is a drone's eye view of an entire neighborhood in Yucaipa, CA that got together and created a synchronized light display.

Here's one for you, Mark, New Orleans own Vince Vance and the Valiants with Lisa Layne singing "All I Want for Christmas is You". There's some great saxophone playing, which I suppose is expected for New Orleans.

Little late here but this is a music box I made for my beloved for Christmas. Music box with an antique Swiss movement, just under 8" tall, made of sycamore for face and hat, with birdseye maple hat rim and big leaf maple for base. I used some acrylic to make a sound port/baffle under the base and a decorative plate under the head. Buttons are just some craft items from Hobby Lobby and the nose I turned from scrap.

Here's a video link if you want to see and hear it:

Clearly I'm not a videographer

Yea that was a wonderful gift Mark.

Thanks John. So was that beautiful hand mirror from your shop. She loves it! In fact, it sits on the desk at her office, and many of her employees have admired it. Thanks again!
