Zebrawood twist

Zebrawood twist

This is my thrid done with the tangential twist technique. this with Zebrawood. The black at the top an bottom is a faux ebony. Hard maple colored with india ink.
Very nicely done twist Dave. Did you cut the individual slats to a specific angle and then glue/twist them over a mandrel?

Thanks Dave, have you considered combining the tangential twist with a multi-axis twist? It could yield some very interesting results. For some multi-axis twist examples, take a look at my website at horais.com
