Woodpops Executive Catch Top

Wood spin top that spins in it's little tower. It's captured it can't get away, if you make it just right. Took me about 12 prototypes to get it just right. So I made a template to mass produce them. Sent the template to 12 woodturners in US, UK and AUS to see if they could use the template to duplicate the top. Two have done it so far. Sold five tops at an art show for $45 each. Saw a similar top in a German video and challenged myself to make one. It's a woodturners fidget spinner. I play with mine while watching TV. Warning! it's habit forming. I cut out a bunch of the templates on a laser. Great project for precision turning. Fun too.
Love spin tops and how a challenge is built in here.
Please add me to your list of test-turners. I also speak german, if that helps. :)
