White Oak Bowl

White Oak Bowl

This was my first bowl larger than about 5" or so. Final dimentions came in about 8.5" wide by 5.5" tall. The wood i believe is white oak - it was very hard to turn and took MANY trips to the grinder to sharpen tools. The log this is made from was found on the side of the road on the way home from my in laws house!
