Vasticola winged bowl

Vasticola winged bowl

Just finished another winged bowl, this time made from vasticola Burl. 8”x10”x2”. This is my first time turning vasticola, and it was one of the easiest Australian burls I’ve ever worked with. I love the contrast of sapwood and heartwood. It adds lots of great character.
