Twisted Cherry Bowl

Twisted Cherry Bowl

This 7 inch diameter bowl was turned from a block of cherry. A 3-point multi-axis method was used to turn the upper half, resulting in the spiraling twist. The bottom half was turned on center. Pyrographic enhancements were used to highlight the intersection of the twisted and circular sections. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
