Titleist Tee Time

Titleist Tee Time

The Titleist golf hat was pyro-engraved by hand and is made from maple burl with ambrosia. The base is cherry with green felt. I used an antique golf club with a persimmon shaft as the stand to tie into the golf-themed piece.
This piece was created seven years ago for my friend, David Gilbert. David loved golf and it was a true joy to create this piece for him for his 70th Birthday.
Rest in peace my friend.
Another most excellent themed wood hat! I think the club for your stand has a Persimmon club head and a hickory shaft. That is the most typical and the shaft looks like hickory to me.
