Red Oak replica of Frank Lloyd Wright planter from Robie House, Chicago.

Built blank from red oak lumber, 15" on a side (approx 21" corner to corner), originals were cast concrete and as large as 60" on a side, Fumed, dyed, carved, ebonized, and finished with spar varnish, The original Wright design did not have the carved decorations, This is just a scale model as I hope to make the next one twice as large.
