red coolibah winged bowl

Here’s one of my favorites! I’ve been working on this one over the past week while I’ve been recovering from another hip surgery. Yes, I can turn on one foot. This is made from Australian red coolibah. 11”x6”x2”. I love doing these style of winged bowls. While they aren’t very useful, they sure look cool.
Useful bowls can never look that good. That kind of bowl is for sitting on a shelf or table and looking beautiful without being used for anything.
