Bleached Box Elder - 16 inches high - turned on three axes and the top sand-carved. Unlike "Great Aunts" which were turned on 2 axes and look the same, these are aesthetically more pleasing as you can see the three faces and the twist from most points of view. Multi-axis sculpting gives very rich mining, quite unpredictable, requires experimenting with prototypes and is heaps of fun! All comments and critiques welcome and valuable. Thanks.

I like what you have going here. There is great lithe motion in this piece. Its moving a bit more than your others. I do like the colors you employed in the Great Aunts. I look forward to see oyu bring some of that to this triple axis concept.
