Osage Orange HF

This wood is awesome, I love it.
Its very hard but turns pretty nice with a sharp gouge.
It is such a bright color of yellow it almost hurts your eyes to look at it.
A thanks to Dick Parr is in order for giving me a nice hunk of log to work with.
Measures 7 1/2" wide X 4 1/4" tall.
Antique oil, buffed.
Osage orange??? Is that the name of the wood? Never heard of that and I cannot find it in my woodlist. Wjat kind of wood is it and where does it grows? Very beautifull!
