Maui Curly Koa Hollow Form

About 7 inches wide by 6 tall. 3 carved feet. Finished with Deft lacquer. I did this piece with the #5 Badger tools from Mike Hunter. Finished it with a home made NRS tip on the Dennis Stewart arm brace, the oldest tool in my shop, over 20 years old. Mike Mahoney commented on my Facebook post where I showed the tool "best hollowing tool ever made" I used to hate to constantly sharpen the HSS tips...
