Maple Burl with Pedestal...

Maple burl vessel turned thin to be lightweight. Finial and pedestal are the same form in reverse. About 14 inches tall overall.
Beautiful, Wally....love the color contrast. Really nice work. What wood did you use for the finial and base?

Now that has a very very nice balance to it Wally, the contrast between the maple & the black is fabulous,
A "10" from me
Pete :)
