Half Moon, FIre
Philip Rose

Half Moon, FIre

One of my explorations into split turning. Utilizes pyrography, dye, acrylic pain, and Pebeo paint. The bowl portion is roughly 9 inches in diameter.
What an interesting and beautifully proportioned piece. Very elegant and precise. I really like this. Thanks for posting it.

The supporting metal work is also interesting. Is it hand-formed? Looks like it has a patina finish?
