Drip-in-Bowl

Catching this 'drip' in motion was tough, but I managed (just kidding). This 5 1/2 inch diameter bowl was turned from spalted black gum and embellished with pyrography. The 'drip-in-motion' lid was turned from Andiroba. A freeze-frame of an actual water drip is shown in the blue image at the bottom. I used this image to model my 'drip in wood'.
Thanks Emiliano. If I try this again I think I will use a less porous wood for the 'water' so I can get smoother wave action

Really nice.
