Thermed Triplets

Thermed Triplets

Here they are, all three thermed vases. These three 6 inch-tall vases were turned simultaneously on a therming rig on the lathe. Therming uses a rotary drum that allows multiple spindles to be turned at the same time. Woods include cherry, maple and walnut. The center sections are cutouts from each of the other vases, shaped to different forms. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system
Thanks Russ, I'm thinking of posting a group picture of the entire family of thermed vases I've made recently. It should make for a very nice set.
