Hollow Form - 520

Hollow Form - 520

Wood is Black Walnut. The size is 3.75" dia x 7.5" tall. Finish is Danish oil and buffed with white diamond followed by carnauba wax. The Opening in the neck is 11/16" and the form is very well balanced.
Very nice piece, Ed. I really like your fininshes and notice you don't use the tripoli when you buff. What is your reason for that?

nice, did you you the 3/4 keaton hollower again or a different size?

Cyril, it's my belief that if you sand to 600 grit, tripoli has very little benifit. If you have fine scratches tripoli definately helps. Thank you.

baitbegger, 5/16" and 1/2" Keltons. The opening is less than 3/4"!

so it is, i thought maybe you might have hollowed from the bottom, it is very nice!

Very nice. I like the way you used the coloration in the wood. It seems to really fit the form.
