Chumash Basket Illusion Hat

Hat is 16 x 3.5" made from hard maple. Color is India Ink and stich marks are with a 1/8" bead burning pen. A brimed hat was something that came from Europe. The Chumash were excellent weavers and started making these hats for the mission priests in the late 1790's. The size and pattern came from a research book that I have. Weight is about 26 oz. with the brim being about 3/16" thick. Comments welcome.
This is such beautiful and technically impressive work! Well done!

Hi Russ, It does take a lot of time but you might be a little overboard on the million bucks.
