Box Elder Bowl

I haven't posted anything anywhere in a long time. Not sure I have ever posted anything on this site. So I guess this is a test.

I don't turn much box elder but couldn't pass up this piece of wood because it has lots more dark colors than I usually see in box elder.

This bowl is about 11" x 3 1/4". Probably finished with Danish Oil.
Beautiful bowl Chuck! And you are right, there is a lot more character in this example of Box Elder than you normally see.
