Black Walnut vase

This Black Walnut vase is approx 14" tall and 5" diameter. The hollow form is finished with Danish Oil and Wipe On Poly. The finial is Cherry, dyed using India Ink and lacquered.

Mother Nature did a fine job with the grain. The photo doesn't do it justice in regards to chatoyance of not only the heartwood but also the sapwood.
Thank you all for your kind words! Mother Nature and luck was definitely in play here!
