I like this form quite a bit, and I think the thickness is ok given the size. Since the lines of this form are so subtle, I wonder how it would look without the foot? I'm also impressed that you were able to save the bark and not sand it thinner in spots.
 
I debated on leaving it or not. I think it would have worked w/o - maybe even looked better. Thanks for the feedback.
