Black locust textured hollow form

Black locust textured hollow form

Black locust textured hollow form About 7” wide and 5” tall. Wood from Marblehead, ma. This piece I removed the softer part of the grain and ebonized the surface then in the lower section of the grain I embedded a violet color. I also gave it a textured diamond pattern around the rim.
