Black Cherry Bowl

Black Cherry with an antique oil finish. Rim and foot are burnt. 12-1/2" x 3-1/2". Feedback welcomed.
Mark,
This bowl has great lines, and flows seemlessly from the rim to the foot. I am still trying to get a nice ogee bowl. I just have not been happy with the few I have tried.

Elegant!
Is the edge of the rim scalloped? It looks like there is some texture on the edge that kind of mirrors the design on the foot, but the angle is too oblique.
It is certainly worth a second view.

George, it has a scalloped effect... but it is a result of the wire I had bent for the burner. It was a little more prominent in the middle than on the edges, so it burned just a little deeper.
