Birds of North America

A 14” diameter segmented Maple bowl decorated with twelve North American birds created with pyrography and paints and finished with gloss lacquer.
Very nice and very timely since Saturday was the annual Great Back Yard Bird Count day. My little city had an organized GBYBC event with a great turn out despite the cold windy weather. A couple of the birds on the platter were spotted. The most unexpected was the cedar waxwing (three o'clock on the platter), but a huge flock of several hundred was spotted.
