A quickie after work yesterday

Spalted maple with Spirit stains... it’s about 4.5” tall and 2.5” wide. I tried high friction polish, but couldn’t get the finish that I was looking for. I also see room for improvement with some tool marks even though I sanded 80 to 400. The cup is too thin in one spot and is uneven, need practice on hollowing out. All in all though, I like it. My best goblet/chalice thus far.
