    The grain of this wood reminds me of our Pheasant wood. Nice bowl, I'm no fan of recess in my work, I prefer spigots, tiny ones, or better yet, no foot at all.

    @Michael Nathal I have played around with a hole saw, but couldn't find any HSS hole saws locally so I went with a bi-metal instead. Worked (sorta), but left a rough surface.
