This guy takes a still photo, mills off a few thousandths of an inch, sands and oils the surface, takes another photo, and repeats.

Unique. Woodswimmer looks like the opening of a old TV detective serial. Can't remember the name but can remember the opening swirl of colors.
Reminds me of the Visible Human Project - not for the faint of heart.
I was too young for the 60's, but I felt I went there, lol
